The Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Wall system was initially introduced to Viet Nam in the last years of the 20th century. In the field of civil engineering, Vietnam has issued standards for design and construction to turn MSE into a widely applicable solution.
Prior to the establishment of local offices, various business units of Geoquest such as Geoquest Indonesia, Geoquest India, and Geoquest Malaysia were collaborated with local contractors in MSE wall projects. Until 2003, Geoquest Viet Nam’s local office was officially established and located in Ha Noi-Vietnam under a Joint Venture with Freyssinet Vietnam.
Viet Nam is the country of soft soil areas, especially the Red River Delta and Mekong Delta. Therefore, the selection of an optimized technical solution for works located on soft ground in general and works of retaining walls in particular has been posed as urgent issue to be addressed.
With outstanding advantages, the structures of Reinforced Earth® Wall (known as MSEW) allow an optimal use of local embankment material. The flexibility generated from plate-separated wall surface combined with special accessories help the structure to well-adapt to the total settlement and settlement differences on soft ground.

We can create and render major and complex engineering projects with high technical content, logistical challenges, and construction specialty.
